Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Account Manager to drive sales growth and strengthen client relationships within the rentals sector. This role focuses on expanding market share and delivering exceptional service to both new and existing clients across regions including Nelspruit, Steelpoort/Burgersfort, and Polokwane. Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of sales processes and rental products - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Energetic, adaptable, and target-driven - Competent in administrative tasks such as quotations, reporting, and lease agreements - Good planning, organization, and cost-control skills - Proficient in MS Office Behavioural Competencies: - Confident, reliable, and trustworthy - Customer-oriented with a professional demeanor - Flexible, creative, and able to solve problems independently - Dedicated, perseverant, and results-driven
Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients
- Provide excellent after-sales support and client engagement
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects
- Conduct regular customer visits and market research, including competitor analysis
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations, tenders, and rental orders using the ERP system
- Support accounts team with collection of overdue payments
- Complete weekly and monthly reports on sales and client activity
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, including client-specific protocols
Requirements
- Grade 12; Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales or account management, preferably in rentals or construction-related products
- Proven track record of achieving targets
- Experience with ERP systems and report writing
- Ability to read construction drawings is a plus
