Welcome to Hadeeda! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hadeeda website, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through hadeeda.co.za (the "Site"). By using the Site, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. User Obligations

By using our Site, you agree to:

  • Provide true, accurate, and complete information in your profile and applications.
  • Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to post illegal, offensive, or harmful content.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account password and be responsible for all activities under your account.

2. CV and Profile Content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and content of the information you upload, including your CV and profile data. Hadeeda is not liable for any false or misleading information provided by users. By uploading your CV, you grant Hadeeda a license to share it and your profile information with potential employers (our clients) for recruitment purposes.

3. Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Hadeeda Recruitment (Pty) Ltd. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

4. Service Availability and Limitations

While we strive to keep the Site operational, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at our discretion and without prior notice.

5. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. You may also request the deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Hadeeda acts as a platform to connect candidates and employers. We are not a party to any employment agreement and are not liable for employment outcomes, errors in job listings, or the actions of any third parties (including employers and candidates). The Site is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

7. POPIA and Data Processing

  • Consent: By creating an account and uploading your information, you explicitly consent to our Privacy Policy and these Terms, and you agree to the processing of your personal information as described therein.
  • Lawful Processing: We process your data only for the specific, lawful purposes of recruitment and providing our services.
  • Data Retention: We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill these purposes or as required by law. Afterward, it will be securely deleted or anonymized.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in South Africa.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
