Description
The primary purpose of this role is to drive increased revenue for the company through effective sales activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Effective handling of customer inquiries and queries, liaising with clients telephonically and via email, including managing an existing customer database.
- Maintaining effective communication skills for daily activities related to transport contractors, logistics, procurement, and general inquiries.
- Liaising effectively with managers regarding operational requirements on production, product, and sales levels on a daily basis.
- Being responsible for general sales administration requirements, including quotes, CAD design, costing, order processing, warranty tracking, delivery tracking, cold calling register maintenance, budget tracking, daily workload reporting, daily prospect reporting, and customer surveys.
- Demonstrating the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
- Ensuring compliance with clients SHEQ code of conduct and standards.
Requirements
Preferred Competencies
- Computer Literacy & proficiency in MS Office
- Driver's license, self-reliant transport
- Exceptional customer service oriented and organized
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technical minded and detail oriented
- Honest, energetic, approachable, target driven, effective, self-starter, team player with the ability to work independently within a pressurized environment
- Able to work overtime when required
