Description

The primary purpose of this role is to drive and achieve profitable sales targets from both new and existing clients. The Account Manager will be responsible for increasing market share, providing exceptional customer service, and building strong relationships with current and new clients, specifically focusing on regions including Nelspruit, Steelpoort/Burgersfort and Polokwane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve agreed sales targets and profitability.
  • Actively seek and create new opportunities within the market.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with current and future customers.
  • Provide excellent after-sales service and engage in regular customer entertainment.
  • Establish and maintain a healthy prospect pipeline.
  • Achieve agreed customer visit targets.
  • Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of enquiries, quotes, and tenders.
  • Load rental orders efficiently on the ERP system.
  • Assist accounts personnel with the collection of outstanding and overdue payments.
  • Complete weekly/monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all reasonable instructions, Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Control (SHEQ) standards, and all COVID protocols.
