Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all daily construction site activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Implement and enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Monitor project progress against schedule and budget, providing regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage site resources, including materials, equipment, and labour, to optimize operational efficiency and cost control.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all work meets the client's stringent quality benchmarks and contractual standards.
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, engineers, and local authorities, attending site meetings and reporting progress.
- Resolve any on-site issues or challenges promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to project flow.
- Ensure compliance with construction contracts (e.g., JBCC, FIDIC) and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Handle comprehensive site documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, site instructions, and claims.
Requirements
Preferred Competencies
- SACPCMP professional registration
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
- Demonstrated experience with diverse construction projects (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial)
- Advanced First Aid and Fire Fighting certifications
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strategic thinker, capable of foreseeing and mitigating potential issues
- Decisive, demonstrating good judgment and composure under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented while maintaining a view of the overall project
- Proven integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct
